The Tin Ring

Support Us

JaneWe are very grateful to Zdenka for the gift of her story. We have promised to ensure that her story and the learning from it is never forgotten. We take this responsibility seriously and our ambition for The Tin Ring Project is limitless unfortunately our funding is not.

The Tin Ring has received funding from Arts Council England to research and construct the performance itself but in addition to this initial core funding The Tin Ring requires generous donations from people like you to enable the work to reach new and unfound audiences. We are particularly interested in developing the educational strand of the work so that Zdenka’s message can influence as many people as possible.

We are working with Educational Charity The Forge to develop the learning programme Suitcase of Survival which supports young people to develop their own survival skills.

There are many ways that you can support Zdenka’s legacy. Individuals can donate funds to The Forge to support our work with young people and communities or to support the Living Memorial performance work of the Tin Ring. As we are a registered charity, if you are a UK taxpayer, we can make your gift go further by claiming Gift Aid on your past and future donations. This is worth an additional 25p in every pound to us, and will cost you nothing to allow us to claim it.

If you would like to make a donation by cheque, please make it out to ‘The Forge’, complete the Gift Aid form, and return it to us with your donation to: The Forge, Stanley Education Centre, County Durham DH9 0HQ

If you're unable to make a cash donation at this time, support us for free, by telling everyone you know about The Tin Ring & Suitcase of Survival SOS or following us on Twitter or Facebook
